Jeff Hornacek is a native San Diegan. He attended Mission Bay High School, San Diego State University, and then transferred to Humboldt State University where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science. Jeff's athletic talent, hardwork, and unique training regiments won him a football scholarship and played 2 years for the Lumberjacks receiving CFA All-Conference Honors as a Wide Receiver.

Jeff's passion for sports, fitness, health, and guiding others began in high school and has now become his career. Eventhough he enjoyed competitive sports and leasure activities, chronic pain during his high school and early college years almost sidelined him indefinitely. He was a well oiled machine, but had poor and misaligned posture resulting in several injuries such as a sports hernia, pulled hamstrings, sprained ankles, migraine headaches, and worst of all Chronic lumbar pain. Thankfully these symptoms resolved when he discovered postural alignment therapy.

For the past 5 years, Jeff has helped people world-wide find happiness, improved health, and pain relief utilizing postural alignment therapy under a watchful eye of Pete Egoscue and his staff at The Egoscue Method. While working at The Egoscue Clinic, Jeff had the opportunity to work and train with serveral novice to Professional Athletes such as John Allred, John Lynch, Junior Seau, Lina Yanchulova and others.

Thanks to the guidance, experience, and knowledge he gained during his tenure at The Egoscue Clinic Jeff decided to take on a new challenge and started Pain Free Fitness. With his unique training background and experience as an athlete, he looks forward to educating, training, and empowering individuals with the knowledge that they too can enjoy the experience of a pain free and active lifestyle.
